BARYNYA storage box

The wooden BARYNYA (the Lady, Барыня (rus.) jewelry box keeps it secret: it can store all the little dear things, be a money box or a plaything, that doubles as a shelf decor. The design of the toy is adopted from the “Gorokhovetskaya barynya” – a little-known, but oddly beautiful traditional Russian souvenir of the XIX century.
